Blessings

Hey! Jeez, I once again, failed at keeping up with my blog posts. Lets see...Oh! I do have some exciting news. I got a job last month! It was definitely a God send. He's been showing me the last several months that he has my path layed out for me, and all I have to do is trust him. Gaa, sometimes that's easier said than done, especially if you're as impatient as I am. lol I was hoping to have had a job several months ago, but I can see now that God had the right job for me at the RIGHT time. I think that's a struggle a lot of people have, I know I do, is knowing that God has you where you are for a reason and even if you don't understand why, it's important to TRUST him amd know that he is taking care of you. :)

My best friend's wedding..(not the movie)

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned in an earlier post that my dearest friend Ashlyn was getting married! Well, the wedding bells were rung, and down the aisle she went, and now she's a Mrs. :) It's so crazy that it's already been nearly a week since the beautiful day! It was such a beautiful wedding, and I was thrilled to be a part of it. I wish I had taken more pics of the wedding weekend, but here are a few of the ones I did manage to snap as we were all getting ready. Enjoy! :)

It seems like weddings have been going on all around me this year! haha Several of my friends have gotten married, and are getting married here soon. I love the creativity I see in each wedding, and how the personalities of the couple comes through in the wedding details. Seeing so many of my friends getting married has definitely given me a lot of great ideas for my big day, whenever that may be...It's in God's hands, and I'm definitely excited for my future prince charming. :)

A few days ago, I went with my lovely friend, Tirzah, to go get her ears pierced for the first time. She's getting married (yay) in a few months, so she wanted to have earrings for that. I've had my fair share of piercings, so it was fun to go and see her get them done. :)

Last week my good friend Brenna left for Texas with her husband Chase. Chase has music connections out there, and so that's why they left so he could get his music going. I miss her already, but at least they aren't planning on being there for THAT long. I hope not at least!
We got some good hang out time in before they left, so that was nice. :)

Overdue..

Dang, I haven't been good at keeping up with my blogging!

Well, I won't attempt to remember all the happenings in my life over the past couple weeks, so I'll just fill you in on my lovely day today.

This morning, my sis and I went on a little hike. It was nice since a lot of the hike was in the shade. It;s been miserably hot lately, so hiking in the afternoon isn't really an option! lol

Later on we broke out my Henna kit and had fun with that. I've never used Henna before, so it was a learning experience. I think I would be one of those people who, after getting one tattoo would keep on getting more, so I'll stick with Henna. I know I would get bored with the same 'ol tattoo, so it's good for me to have the power to change it if I want! haha

This evening I hung out with my buddies Brenna and Elizabeth, and we played the game "connect". It was fun! Elizabeth's husband, David came after a bit and played it with us. Fun day!

Oh! I do have some exciting news though. One of my good friend, Tirzah just got engaged! Lots of weddings, and engagements have been going on lately. It's so crazy! lol My sis and I are starting to feel left out, but we keep reminding ourselves that we have the rest of our lives to be married, so we should enjoy our singleness. lol..... ;)

Ah, I keep coming up with more things to talk about!...I suppose that's a good thing? I've been in a crafty mood lately, and the only things I've really had on hand is stuff to make jewelry, but I did enjoy making some pretty headbands! It's definitely a lot cheaper making them yourself rather than buying them. That's if you hit all the right sales, of course. ;) I've also been having fun experimenting with makeup. I think I have a slight addiction to the stuff! I found this brand called e.l.f (eyes, lip, face) and I really like a lot of their stuff, and it's REALLY cheap too, which is always a bonus. ....I didn't make the robot ring, I just found it, and thought it was too cute to pass up! lol

If any of you are stumped on what to read this summer, I highly recommend reading, "Heaven is For Real" by Todd Burpo. It's an amazing true story! I have only recently started reading the book, but I've heard their story on T.V and it's incredible! Go read!

Finally! :)

So, today, after many months of searching, and saving, I bought my first car! lol I call it my granny car since practically the only people I see on the road with these are older people. :) I named her Bertha, named after my great grandma. haha

God is definitely faithful to provide the things we need, and I'm thankful he brought me this car...I'm totally gonna make the granny car cool with the younglings! ;)

Beautiful Colorado

Just got home from a lovely hike with some friends. We went at the perfect time, escaping the afternoon heat. It's the first time I've been on this trail. I'm surprised I haven't been there before. I totally fail at being from Colorado. lol you'd think I'd know where every hiking spot is by now. haha
